May 9, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join the Emerging Leaders Peer Network in the continuation of our Marquee Speaker Series when we host a lively and behind the scenes look at the San Francisco entitlement process – that major milestone in the development life cycle that can often seem daunting and insurmountable. Elizabeth Watty, Assistant Director of Current Planning at the San Francisco Planning Department, will share an insider’s perspective of the planning approvals process and participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss current challenges. Watty brings a unique perspective as a former San Francisco Planner and now Assistant Director of Current Planning, working closely with the SF Planning Commission and John Rahaim on a variety of small and large development projects, including the California Pacific Medical Center Rebuild project, Parkmerced, and the new Chinatown Transit Station, as well as numerous process improvements to help move development projects – small and large – through the process in a more streamlined manner.

After the event there will be time for networking, refreshments and drinks.
