Position Overview:

 

The Sr. Housing Operations Supervisor is a core leadership position within CHP’s Housing Operations Department (HOD).  The position is responsible for supervising two Property Supervisors, as well as overseeing operations at approximately three supportive housing sites in San Francisco.  The Sr. Housing Operations Supervisor must establish, maintain and oversee effective staffing, housing operations management systems, and resident relations at all sites.  These activities enable the HOD to achieve its performance targets for the ten buildings in the portfolio, meeting customer service goals, and working collaboratively with services to support resident self-sufficiency outcomes for formerly homeless individuals and families.  The Sr. Housing Operations Supervisor works with staff to create a safe, clean and empowering community at each housing site.  The Sr. Housing Operations Supervisor will participate in the creation of departmental strategies and performance benchmarks, operational procedures and policy development.

The Sr. Housing Operations Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of operations at assigned supportive housing properties and supports the two Property Supervisors and Site Managers in: achieving Key Performance Indicators; recruiting, hiring and development of staff; customer service quality control; regulatory and investor relations; and implementation of performance improvement systems, among other responsibilities.  The Sr. Housing Operations Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and directing all management-related activities with site-level personnel and work collaboratively with other CHP departments to ensure that the essential functions are met on a regular and consistent basis.
