SUMMARY:Electoral Communications (c3 approved!)
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Strategic Communications Council Fall Quarterly Convening \nAs we approach the 2022 electoral cycle\, what role can c3 non-profits play in advancing their vision for the Bay Area? It may be more than you think! Join NPH’s Strategic Communications Council and Bay Rising as we review how c3 nonprofits can legally engage in advocacy within their unique capacities and roles. We’ll also review specific communications channels\, messages\, and engagement examples you can employ to advance pro-housing messages for the 2022 election cycle. This training will also be an opportunity to connect with other Bay Area organizations that see housing as foundational to our collective goals of racial\, economic\, and environmental justice in the Bay Area.[/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”Register Today” style=”custom” custom_background=”#ba5226″ custom_text=”#ffffff” shape=”square” align=”center” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fus02web.zoom.us%2Fmeeting%2Fregister%2FtZ0qcuGrqDguE9W1dJSYnKyKBLXFdFh4-qYE|target:_blank” el_class=”custom-button”][vc_column_text](NPH working groups are for members only. SUMMARY:Networking for Inclusive Professional Services in Affordable Housing
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text el_class=”custom-text-editor”]Join members of NPH’s Diversity\, Equity\, & Inclusion Working Group with Swinerton to discuss how we can step outside ‘business as usual’ to make procurement of professional services more inclusive and equitable and include more firms with women\, BIPOC (Black\, Indigenous\, and People of Color)\, and LGBTQIA+ owners and leaders. \nThis two-part event includes an hour of discussion\, led by leaders of BIPOC professional services such as architects and engineers\, as well as representatives from Bay Area nonprofit affordable housing developers\, on ways to overcome the barriers to increasing the participation of diverse professional services in affordable housing development. The second hour is for networking\, where we will meet and greet with regional BIPOC and other diverse vendors who are interested in working on affordable housing projects.
