We invite you to be a part of BRIDGE's Advanced Housing Asset Management which is the final course of the Certified Housing Asset Manager (CHAM) series. This course will be offered November 6-8, 2018 (Tuesday to Thursday) from 8:30am to 5:00pm in Oakland. This training will provide the following: skills for analyzing and managing portfolios of properties, through exercises involving both case studies and analysis of their own organizations’ portfolios. Goetz, Director of the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs and Professor of Urban Planning at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Goetz will present "Housing Policy and the O-Word: Getting beyond the mistakes and constraints of the 'Opportunity' paradigm."

We're looking for individuals of all abilities, incomes, and backgrounds to help us envision what a truly inclusive community looks like. In this workshop -- supported by faculty from Stanford's d.School and community leaders -- we'll define key design elements, housing models, and community values that support inclusive housing. First, you will be paired with a “use case,” a Bay Area resident with specific housing needs and preferences. You’ll work with them, and your team, to design their ideal home and community.…
