SUMMARY:Supervision with a Liberatory Mindset: Organizational Change Centering People\, Community\, and Justice
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nFollowing up from our October session on “Feedback with a Liberatory Mindset: Organizational Change Centering People\, Community\, and Justice” we will explore what liberatory mindsets look like in a practice of supervision. \nThis session will be relevant for both managers and direct reports\, as supervision is a practice that requires buy-in and engagement from both sides. We will examine what makes supervision challenging\, such as oppressive structures and norms\, and what’s possible when it’s done within a liberatory framework. \nThis session builds on previous trainings about Liberatory Leadership\, but it is not required or necessary to have attended those sessions.[/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”Register Today” shape=”square” align=”center” style=”custom” custom_background=”#ba5226″ custom_text=”#ffffff” color=”grey” gradient_color_1=”turquoise” gradient_color_2=”blue” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fevents.zoom.us%2Fev%2FAjU2e4GNzQuv4Ec4NbGPza-1f8sa_18au-t8oOYvQJDe2wmCxgqi~As9cUakdU78N2Hm_j5TaNFkzDUWTTQmt_udESvFEuf0AWTbbK6-qWh7OAQ|target:_blank” el_class=”custom-button”][vc_column_text] \nSession Objectives:\n\nBuild understanding of how a liberatory mindset informs how we show up as supervisors and direct reports\nDeeper dive in three mindsets: build relational trust\, practice self-awareness\, and recognize oppression\nIdentify qualities\, practices\, and structures that support a liberatory supervisory relationship\n\nIn this interactive session we will have opportunities for small group discussion so that you can bring this tool back to your organization and implement where appropriate. \nRemember\, “Liberatory Design is both a flexible process that can be used by teams and a set of equity leadership habits that can be practiced daily.” [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text] \nSpeakers Include:\n[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”89411″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text] \nCost: $40\n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text] \nRegistration for this training is free for current NPH members (2026).\nThe form will verify your membership based on the email domain you use to register. To check your organization’s membership status\, visit our website or contact Oksana@nonprofithousing.org. \nTo become a member\, please click here for more information. \nFor questions about this training\, please contact Andrew@nonprofithousing.org.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
