Affordable Housing at the Legislature

We believe everyone deserves a safe, stable, affordable place to call home that allows their family to thrive. By working with our members and advocates like you we will share a future where low-income communities and communities of color stay and prosper in the Bay Area and across our great state.

Help us build our movement and our future where everyone has access to an affordable home: improving our health, our children’s educational outcomes, our environment, our transit system, our regional competitiveness, and keeping the Bay Area diverse and equitable.

There are hundreds of housing-related bills proposed in Sacramento this session. Our NPH Priority Bills are selected because they have the potential to create the most progress for our region and state. Join us by speaking up for your family, neighborhood, community, and future through our Action Center below.

3Ps Framework: Production, Preservation, and Tenant Protections

In addition to our above listed priority bills, NPH is proud to play a leadership role in the “3Ps” legislative campaign coalition work to move forward the 3-pronged approach to housing solutions of production, preservation, and tenant protections .

The 3Ps framework came from the Bay Area CASA recommendations and taken up by legislators in Sacramento. Now, this framework has been embraced by a multi-sector coalition of labor, business, housing and economic justice advocates as the holistic approach we need to bring relief to California families and workers.
