Marin Housing Authority is seeking an experienced professional responsible for the overall management of all maintenance activities and functions to ensure that our housing complexes and systems meet or exceed all regulatory, quality, health & safety requirements on a continuing basis. The incumbent’s primary role will be to perform a wide variety of maintenance and repairs (approximately 85% of working hours will be dedicated to this). Duties include organizing production; supervising, training and developing maintenance staff; resolving conflicts; coordinating with program managers; and developing and maintaining procedures and systems. The position also requires field supervision of staff and contractors, a great deal of skill in dealing with clientele, a high level of conservation awareness, a strong sense of the mandates of efficiencies, strategic planning ability and a commitment to quality control.
