The Project Manager or Senior Project Manager will advance Housing California’s mission and vision by working in close coordination with the Strategic Initiatives Director to advance key organizational strategic projects, initiatives, and policy campaigns at the state level, with a specific emphasis on the Roadmap Home 2030. The Roadmap Home 2030 is a long-term vision, framework, and state policy platform for solving our state’s housing crisis and ensuring every Californian has access to a safe, stable, and affordable home. This position will include a sharp focus on the following Roadmap Home 2030 tasks: 1) aligning and strengthening this state level policy framework with cross-sector networks and stakeholders, 2) developing and supporting transformative state level policy strategies and campaign efforts that advance its goals, 3) building broad-based power and support amongst housing justice partners, cross-sector allies, community partners, individuals with lived experience, legislative leaders, coalitions, and the media, 5) policy research and writing. The Project Manager or Senior Project Manager - Strategic Initiatives will report directly to the Strategic Initiatives Director and will serve as a thought partner, project manager, and collaborative member of the Strategic Initiatives team. This position will also work closely with our Policy, Power Building, Narrative and Strategic Communications, and Administrative/Events teams; as well as consultants, Residents United Network (RUN) leaders, and other key cross-sector partners.
