NPH is looking for a strategic, collaborative, and organized Senior Programs and Events Manager who is passionate about event design and planning and program development to strengthen member capacity and community.
The Senior Programs & Events Manager is responsible for executing inclusive, inspiring, engaging, and successful events and trainings for NPH. This role is an integral leader within the three-person events team at NPH, leading the work to create the capacity-building and networking events that are at the heart of NPH’s core work to support our members. The event portfolio includes our annual Leadership Awards, Conference, and Holiday Member Party while our programs include our Brown Bag training series, Emerging Leaders Peer Network, and Resident Services Training Series. (Our events and program portfolio is subject to change based on evolving organization, member, and industry needs).
This role will report directly to the Programs & Events Director and will develop and implement strategies that advance the Events Department’s goals as well as lift up organization-wide priorities. This person will be responsible for cross-team collaboration to support the work and will work closely with the Communications team and Fund Development/Membership team to advance the work. This position will require strong project and people management skills, decision-making skills, and project design and implementation skills. Additionally, the person will need to think strategically, critically, and collaboratively when approaching the work.
NPH relies on our members to help shape the programming we offer to ensure that our events and programs are relevant, timely, and valuable to our members. NPH events and programs strengthen the industry through capacity-building offerings, activate and engage NPH members in NPH’s policy, campaign, racial equity, and narrative initiatives, and create a platform to highlight emerging industry-wide challenges and opportunities.
