Join NPH on August 27 for our upcoming Brown Bag training, “Building Electrification: Challenges and Opportunities Of All-electric Developments.”
California has set ambitious goals to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that are dependent on a new generation of NetZero buildings. Starting in January of 2020, new construction, low-rise residential buildings will be required to be NetZero. In addition, jurisdictions throughout the state are adopting All-Electric Building Ordinances. In order to achieve the GHG targets and comply with city requirements, developments will need to utilize all-electric heating and cooling systems and appliance packages. This Brown Bag training will discuss the need to electrify including the new 2019 Title 24 Energy Code requirements, in addition to reviewing residential developments that utilize all-electric packages and funding opportunities that are available.
Convener: Kimberly Smith, PYATOK Architecture + Urban Design
When: Thursday, August 27 | 12pm to 2pm
The training will start at 12pm, but we encourage attendees to arrive at 11:30am to enjoy the hosted lunch.
