Millions of dollars in funding is available for the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) in existing affordable housing properties. Eligible major rehabilitation projects going through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) 4% and 9% programs are able to co-leverage the Solar on Multifamily Affordable Housing (SOMAH) program for cash incentives and free comprehensive technical assistance.
