Join NPH on August 27 for our upcoming Brown Bag webinar, “Building Electrification: Challenges and Opportunities Of All-electric Developments.”
California has set ambitious goals to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that are dependent on a new generation of all-electric buildings. As of January 2020, new construction of low-rise residential buildings are required to have solar PV. In addition, jurisdictions throughout the state are adopting All-Electric Building Ordinances. In order to achieve the GHG targets and comply with city requirements, developments will need to utilize all-electric heating and cooling systems and appliance packages. This panel will discuss the need to electrify under the 2019 Title 24 Energy Code requirements and will review residential developments that utilize all-electric packages and available funding opportunities.
