From Policy to Implementation

Our commitment to Bay Area solutions means working at all levels of government to create meaningful change and opportunity for all of our neighbors, and especially our low-income residents and communities of color. NPH’s regulatory program helps ensure that the critical affordable housing policies and solutions passed are implemented effectively and fairly in order to create significant impact for our Bay Area communities. We work with our members to bring technical assistance, expertise, and feedback on proposed rules and regulations directly from the field.

Regulatory and Implementation

Building on NPH’s many victories securing additional resources and policies to build and preserve affordable homes, NPH is focused on ensuring that these hard fought victories result in more affordable housing in the Bay Area. NPH is working to ensure that the implementation of policies and programs at the Treasurer’s office — the Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) and the California Debt Limit Allocation Committee (CDLAC) — as well as at the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), align with the work of our members and prioritize the needs of our communities to maximize impact.

Regulatory Working Group

NPH’s regulatory working group helps ensure that the critical affordable housing policies and solutions passed are implemented effectively and fairly in order to create significant impact for our Bay Area communities. Join with NPH members to discuss and make recommendations on TCAC, AHSC, and other regulatory and implementation guidelines.
