Statement on SB 50 from NPH Executive Director Amie Fishman

“We know that there can be a California future where our seniors, students, families, workers, and all of us have access to safe, stable, affordable homes. That will take bold vision and strong leadership. So while we’re extremely disappointed by today’s decision to turn SB 50 into a 2-year bill, delaying solutions while families suffer, NPH is determined to keep working to make SB 50 a reality, so that our state can make meaningful progress in building more homes, especially affordable homes, to support California families, worker, seniors, and our vulnerable community members.”
