After a late night, these are still early numbers for three county housing
measures. Each county has hundreds of thousands more ballots to count.
Housing measures are strongly positioned with many more votes to be counted.
Alameda County Measure A1 72%
San Mateo County Measure K 70%
Santa Clara County Measure A 67%
A new California law provides that ballots postmarked by November 8 and
arriving at Registrars within three days must be counted — and most
Registrars will continue counting ballots received as late as Monday,
following the Veterans Day federal holiday. Late votes are often more
favorable for our measures.
