Join members of NPH’s Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Working Group with Swinerton to discuss how we can step outside ‘business as usual’ to make procurement of professional services more inclusive and equitable and include more firms with women, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), and LGBTQIA+ owners and leaders.
This two-part event includes an hour of discussion, led by leaders of BIPOC professional services such as architects and engineers, as well as representatives from Bay Area nonprofit affordable housing developers, on ways to overcome the barriers to increasing the participation of diverse professional services in affordable housing development. The second hour is for networking, where we will meet and greet with regional BIPOC and other diverse vendors who are interested in working on affordable housing projects.
