Updated Vote Counts Continue To Suggest Positive Outcomes

Friday, November 11 Update

As we continue to monitor vote counts for the three Bay Area County
affordable housing measures, news remains positive with each of the measure
still positioned to pass.

  • In Alameda County, Measure A1 remains at 72.32% YES. (Updated 11/9/16
    at 1:40pm.)
  • In San Mateo County, Measure K increases to 70.0% YES. (Updated
    11/10/16 at 4:30pm)
  • In Santa Clara County, Measure A remains above the threshold with
    67.22% YES. (Updated 11/10/16 at 5pm.)

 

Via the Mercury News: “We have the opportunity in the Bay Area to be a model for the rest of the country if we can grow smartly and in ways that strengthen the economy and protect the environment,” [Matt Vander Sluis, program director at the nonprofit Greenbelt Alliance] said. “The voters have said that’s the sort of future they want. Now’s the time to double down and get to work.”
