Advocacy & Community Engagement Manager – Full-Time

The Advocacy & Community Engagement Manager will support the implementation and expansion of our advocacy and engagement initiatives through work that includes data collection and analysis; program development and implementation; coalition building and member engagement; affordable housing resident engagement and voter programs; and campaign administration. The Advocacy & Community Engagement Manager reports to the Director of Advocacy & Community Engagement and works with a collaborative team of NPH staff, as well as with NPH members and advocacy partners. The work of the Advocacy & Community Engagement Manager is critical in helping NPH advance successful advocacy and electoral work. This is an exempt, full-time position.

Executive Assistant – Full-Time

The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing the Executive Director with administrative support, including managing her schedule; categorizing, sorting, and filing emails and meeting notes; processing paperwork; and other tasks and projects that will support the Executive Director to work efficiently on leading and advancing NPH’s strategic priorities, campaigns, and programmatic goals, and guiding systems and operational structures. 

The right candidate for this position will be someone with excellent attention to detail, and who is passionate about creating and maintaining organized systems. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be committed to quality work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and have a proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues. The Executive Assistant is a full-time employee supervised by the Executive Director.

Digital Communications Specialist – Full-Time

Communications Specialists are mid-level employees who bring specialist knowledge to their communications role. They should have strong general communications knowledge, skills, and experience as foundational background for their work; the specialist designation should match and elevate team members’ specific strengths and interest areas within a collaborative team environment.

A successful Digital Communications Specialist will also love digital communications and have experience running email and social media programs, familiarity in CRMs (ideally, Salsa Engage and Salesforce), social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn), and WordPress.

Content Specialist – Full-Time

A successful Content Specialist should have a gift for writing and a strong eye for visual design and layout. This person should have a knack for storytelling and the ability to shape housing messages and collateral that will inspire voters, persuade lawmakers, mobilize supporters, help win advocacy and ballot measure campaigns, and engage and support our member network.
