Action Needed: Ask Your Assemblymember to Support Inclusionary Housing Today!

Last Wednesday, AB 2502 (Mullin and Chiu) was passed by the Assembly Committee on Housing and Community Development. This legislation would clarify that local jurisdictions may choose to adopt an ordinance to require that some affordable rental units be included as part of market-rate rental housing developments. The bill now heads to the Assembly floor for a vote. Please call your Assemblymember today and ask her/him to vote “aye” when this critical affordable housing legislation is taken up on the floor.
