Housing is one the most fundamental social determinants of health. Numerous studies have shown that having a safe, stable home is key to health and well-being. Research has also demonstrated that providing our unhoused neighbors with a secure home has a host of health benefits, such as increased access to essential medical care and avoidance of costly emergency room visits.
