In March 2024, California voters passed Proposition 1 to develop an array of behavioral health treatment, residential care settings, and supportive housing to help provide appropriate care facilities for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use disorders. In the past year, the California Departments of Health Care Services and Housing and Community Development have collectively issued funding availability announcements for over $5 billion representing over 80% of the total Proposition 1 bond funds.
This meeting-style NPH training focuses on Proposition 1 from a practitioner perspective. We will learn about exciting potential new developments that have applied for the funds, as well as some of the challenges in accessing those same opportunities. We will also discuss possibilities for the remaining funds available.
This session will be recorded. The recording will be shared with registrants as an unlisted YouTube link 1-2 days after the event.
