Eric Shaw –
He was appointed as Director of the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD) for the City and County of San Francisco by Mayor Breed in April 2020. MOHCD is the lead office advancing investments in affordable housing development and preservation, community stabilization and affordable homeownership.
He has been recognized for his work establishing strategic initiatives that support equitable development and resilience in communities throughout the nation. He has held positions in the public and philanthropic sectors in Washington, D.C., Salt Lake City, Louisiana, Silicon Valley, and Miami.
Eric currently serves as chair of the board of the online publication Next City, is a board member of the Harvard Graduate School of Design Alumni Council and serves on the National Trust for Historic Preservation board of advisors. In 2017 and 2018, he was recognized in the OUTstanding Leading LGBT+ Public Sector Executives List, presented by the Financial Times.
Kathryn Cahill –
Kathryn joined Cahill Contractors as a Project Engineer in 2007, becoming the fourth generation of the Cahill family to work in the construction business. Kathryn held positions in project management, preconstruction, and operations before taking on the CEO role in 2016.
Prior to Cahill, Kathryn worked in management consulting, nonprofit strategy consulting, and education. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Steering Committee for the annual Construction Industry Lunch-O-Ree benefitting the San Francisco Bay Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Yusef Freeman –
He is the Managing Director of California for the Jonathan Rose Companies, leading ground up development and acquisitions on the West Coast out of the Companies’ Oakland, CA office.
Prior to joining the Rose Companies, Yusef was a Vice President of Investments in the transactions group at PGIM Real Estate, sourcing investment opportunities for the real estate private equity funds of the company.
Prior to joining PGIM in 2018, Yusef was the Managing Director for McCormack Baron Salazar, leading west coast operations and new business development nationally for the company and a Graduate Program lecturer in the Department of City and Regional Planning at the University of California, Berkeley.
Yusef holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley where he spent one year studying abroad at the American University in Cairo, Egypt; a Master of Public Administration from New York University, where he majored in public finance as a Public Policy and International Affairs Fellow; and an alum of the Center for Urban Redevelopment Excellence Fellowship Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
Lisa Gutierrez –
Lisa Gutierrez is a Senior Vice President at U.S. Bancorp Community
Development Corporation where she serves as the Director of National
Lending and Multi-Fund Investing. In this role, Lisa leads the affordable housing debt team nationally, as well as overseeing our Multi-Fund tax credit investments. Her expertise includes managing low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) and tax-exempt bond business development efforts. Lisa specializes in all types of multifamily housing finance including: LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, mixed income, market rate and various state and local programs.
Lisa has been with U.S. Bank since 2006, all of which has been in the Affordable Multifamily Housing finance space. As a graduate of California State University Sacramento, B.A. in Public Relations, Lisa is active in the LIHTC industry and currently serves on board for the California Community Reinvestment Corporation (CCRC), California Housing Consortium, and Housing Trust of Silicon Valley, LifeSTEPS, and Abode Communities. Lisa is also a member of the Enterprise Community
Partners, Northern California Advisory Council.
