ELPN: Title & Escrow 101

Join the Emerging Peer Leaders Network (ELPN) as they delve into the exciting world of title and escrow! These are crucial parts of every deal, concerning the property rights and interests and the transfer of funds and documents during a real estate transaction. Whether you’ve never seen a preliminary title report (PTR) or are a closing whiz but could use a refresher, this training will help you identify red flags and navigate closings with ease. We will cover how to read a PTR, exceptions and endorsements, leasehold versus fee title, surveys and mapping, escrow instructions, settlement statements, and more.

Target Audience: Developers and Asset Managers
When: Monday, October 7 | 9:30am – 11:30am.
The training will begin promptly at 9:30am and we encourage attendees to arrive at 9:15AM to check-in. Light breakfast and coffee will be served. 
Where: NPH Conference Room 369 Pine Street, Suite 310 San Francisco, CA 94104.
Getting there: Please note that street parking is very limited due to the congestion of the area. We recommend BART and other public transit. The NPH office is a 5 minute walk from Montgomery BART Station.

Cancellation/Refund Deadline: Thursday, October 3. 
Registrants canceling on or before Thursday, October 3 will receive a full refund. NPH may consider refunds for extenuating circumstances. Refund requests submitted after the deadline are not guaranteed and will be reviewed on an individual basis. To submit a refund request, please email hilda@nonprofithousing.org
