NPH’s Bay Area Housing Internship Program (BAHIP) is a one-year paid internship designed to recruit and train housing development professionals who will enhance inclusion and racial equity in affordable housing at leading nonprofit development organizations in the Bay Area.
The application to apply to the 8th cohort of BAHIP is now open!
Who Should Apply? We strongly encourage applications from low-income students, students of color, and students entering their last year of college in Fall 2026 who have an academic focus or interest in urban studies, community development, and related subject matter. Students with bilingual/bicultural backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

Attend an Info Session There will be two virtual info sessions available for interested applicants to attend. Come get your questions answered about the internship and application process: Friday, February 28 from 12-1PM and Friday, March 14 from 1-2PM.
