State Policy & Advocacy

Building Our Movement

NPH’s legislative program helps ensure that all California residents have a safe, healthy and affordable place to live. We work with members, coalition partners, and supporters to develop, support, and pass state policy that leads to more affordable, stable, and equitable communities in the Bay Area and beyond.

Our commitment to Bay Area solutions means working at all levels of government. NPH has a proven track record of success passing policies at the state level and providing technical and regulatory insight that can create meaningful change and opportunity for all of our neighbors, and especially our low-income residents and communities of color.

Our Legislative Agenda

Each year, NPH is proud to sponsor several legislative and state budget opportunities that can bring investments and reforms that prioritize affordable housing and homelessness solutions for the good of all our neighbors and communities.
