Alameda County Supervisors host first meeting on $500 million housing bond

Excitement, concern, and nearly 100 housing advocates filled the room on March 17 as Alameda County Supervisors hosted the first stakeholder meeting on a proposed $500 million bond for affordable homes, proposed for this November’s ballot.   Supervisors Wilma Chan and Nate Miley spoke to the urgent need for greater affordability.
