Oakland’s Housing Hub: Tour the Housing Assistance Center

Hosted by the City of Oakland The Oakland Housing Hub Tour will feature a walk through of Oakland’s Housing Assistance and an introduction to our program and the range of services we provide to the local community. We will also highlight the experiences of some of our participants who have benefitted from the program. We welcome service providers, housing advocates, and local residents to visit our site and benefit from our service hub model.

Hosted by Community Economics See how affordable housing mitigates the effects of gentrification, enhances neighborhoods, sparks economic development, and stabilizes communities.   Green building, neighborhood-serving retail, connections to transit, child care, clinics, creative designs, supportive services, integrated into neighborhoods, and much more! A leisurely-paced bike ride of about 10 miles. The route is flat, and mostly on roads with bike lanes/sharrows. Please wear a helmet and bring water.
