ELPN: Walking Tour Through Duboce Triangle and Hayes Valley

Join the Emerging Leaders Peer Network and the San Francisco Housing Action Coalition and for a walking tour of Duboce Triangle and Hayes Valley. Major changes were predicted in these neighborhoods once the central freeway was torn down after the 1989 earthquake. Today’s neighborhood has been shaped as a result of the freeway removal and the Market-Octavia Plan, a 10-year long collaborative effort between the city and residents to rezone the area.
